My opinion:
I think it's a dumb idea. I'm a legal immigrant and my families spent almost 20 years filing the immigration papers just so we could start right in a new country. If we can do this, then so are the hundreds of people who are crossing borders everyday. If this bill ever makes it, I'm rallying for citizenship of the legal immigrants. How many people are for that? It is unfair right. I am livid that illegal immigrants come waltzing into this country and demand the same rights we do. I don't think legalizing the illegals will solve the problem. Close the border and enforce the rules. Crack down on illegal immigration and send them back to where they came from unless they can make things right. Where are the legal immigrants at? It's time that we are heard also. And most importantly, I want to hear what the U.S. citizens have to say about this.

First let me say that I don't mind illegal immigration. People can't always get into this countryleagally, so I understand. Nobody dreams of moving to a poor, third world countries, or any other country really. (there are exceptions, but not many do). People dream of coming here, where there are oppertunities, morney, and many other things. I think illegal immigration is just a way to connect the borders of the world. If we didn't try so hard to stop to stop people from crossing our border, we could unite the world and have everyone be equal, have equal oppertunities, and mucch more! I think we should try harder to Bush in his tracks. He just restricting us from world peace.

I think that it stinks, and that Bush should be sent back to Texas for failure on the immigration issue, and other things, too.
The sooner they get the border built, and the sooner they start enforcing the existing laws on immigration, the better off the whole country will be. You can't get blood from a stone, and the only thing propping up BushCo is that they can sell billions in debt per day. If it weren't for that, this administration would have been sent home a long time ago. Deport Bush!(back to Texas).

Do you recall after we did the final amnesty deal? They allow 10 million in and stated it would not occur once more, I consider that was once beneath Bush one million. Now we have now 20-30 million illegals they usually wish to do it once more, we will I say shall we construct a enormous fence first or higher but convey the troops house to guard us and construct a fence, then we will speak approximately immigration. And for those who folks who paintings for a dwelling can not see they wish them right here to compete with you and force down wages then your simply dumber than a field of rocks.

I think the Senate Bill has to be killed because it is so riddled with bad provisions. I think no bill at all is better than that.
I think we need border security first, then we can discuss the rest. When we can't trust our government to enforce any laws they passed previously, how can we trust them now?

Bush's amnesty plan STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is NOT fair to Americans,and it it NOT fair to those trying to come here LEGALLY!!!!!!!!!!! It is not fair to flood the labor market with MILLIONS of foreigners,who DO take jobs Americans need and would do!!!!! Contrary to the popular opinion on here , Not all illegals JUST work at lowpaying jobs in the fields!!!!

i completely agree with you. illegals have NO rights at all. if it were up to me, they'd all be shot. we should treat them like invaders, and mow them down as they try to cross. they'll figure it out. maybe not, they're stupid.

Screen the illegals.
Deport the undesirables.
Give the rest amnesty.
Make it easier to migrate here legally.
