Since that "God" guy requires you to have faith to get to heaven if you meet him you would have knowledge of his existence.

You cant have knowledge and faith since knowledge and faith are mutually exclusive.

Therefore, if you ever meet that "God" guy you would automatically loose faith and go to Hell.

Or is my logic flawed?

First let me say that although I go to church, I am still young in my "religious education" so if I misinform you in any way, forgive me.

In Exodus 33 it says that No man may see me and live. I don't know if he meant here on Earth and Heaven but as for the passage, I believe he was speaking of "on Earth". The passage was refering to Mr. Sinai and when God was going to present "his glory" and he even warned Moses to tell the people to not even touch the mountain once he decended lest they perish.

The most basic way I can explain (as far as what I believe) is that we need faith (among other things) in order to get to heaven. It's the faith that carries you through. Once God has you listed in the book of life and come judgement day "you pass" and get to heaven, you deed is done, your journey is over, etc. Once you get to heaven, your knowledge will probably be greatly expanded compared to what we know now. I think I can also say that if you have faith in him then more than likely, you automatically attribute all things to him (everything that's created, etc.), therefore, I believe you are already showing that you have knowlegde of his existence.

Now, hypothetically, if you did meet "God", I still don't think you would go to hell but in the bible (Exodus 34) it did say that God spoke to Moses face to face (Moses is one the the exceptions). (Again refer to Exodus 33 where he says no man shall look upon me and live). And when Moses came down from Mt. Sinai, he had to cover his face because the glory of the lord was in his face and the people where afraid to look upon him. He also said that the presence of the lord is so great that it is like an all-consuming fire...so yeah, you would persish but I don't know if you would go to hell. Unless, he told you not to look and you disobeyed???

Your logic is incomplete. Faith is what you have before you have knowledge. Once you have knowledge of something you don't have faith in it, because you know it. You can, on this earth, develop faith in God, you can also further develop your faith and have a knowledge of God - that He exists for example. You may still only have faith in other areas, or you may have hope in stil other areas. All areas can be developed and your hope can grow, and turn into faith, and over time and through diligence your faith can grow and strengthen and you can gain a knowledge of a particular thing. God does require that you have faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Faith that Christ did what He promised He would do, namely, love mankind enough to atone for every persons sins, transgressions, mistakes, etc so that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. You don't have to have a perfect knowledge of everything related to God and Jesus Christ to get to heaven. You can have an assortment of faith, hope and knowledge in a myriad of things when you get to the other side. Once there you can learn many other things to take your faith and hope to knowledge. I'm told learning on the other side is much quicker than it is here because the distractions of the world aren't there; however all mankind will be presented with the truth. They/We will know that it is the truth. At some point, after the Second Coming, all mankind will be judged and the consequences of actions will awarded. For some it will be glorious, for others, not so much, and for a very select few, they will go to outer darkness. Something far worse than anyone can imagine Hell to be.

If your talking about meeting God here on earth, you would have knowledge. The thing is the human brain is flawed even if you know something to be true you might not believe. People convince themselves of things that never happened or convince themselves that things that things that happened never happened so you would still need faith.
Anyway that is not how things work many prophets saw God or a representative of God and they did not go to Hell.
By the way hell is not a place. It is what will happen to the world when the saved are taken to heaven. Fire and Brimstone will cleanse the earth. The dead are dead until God comes they know nothing.

Your logic is flawed.

For example, I am not mechanically inclined. When I drive my car, I have faith that when I depress the brake the car will come to a stop. However, I don't have the knowledge to explain the mechanics.

Furthermore, if you feel the Bible is true history, Moses had 1st hand knowledge of God at Mt. Sinai. The Bible continues to tell us that he is with God in heaven.

I think you ae flawed because I dont believe that knowledge and faith are mutually exclusive

The Bible clearly teaches in different ways that faith and knowledge are not to be set in contradistinction.
(1) Faith and knowledge never are contrasted in the New Testament. Faith is contrasted with
sight—not knowledge or reason. In Hebrews 11:1 we read: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for, the evidence of things not seen.” Further, Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not
by sight.” These verses make it clear that faith is set in contrast to “walking by sight.” Sight is a type of
sense perception, and therefore a means of attaining knowledge. Thus, faith, instead of being contrasted
with knowledge, is contrasted with a means of attaining knowledge. This does not mean faith and sight
cannot function together. Jesus said: “Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed”

i want to believe that you ask these questions because you already know the truth just seeking opinions from everyone else. because what other reason would you have to have so many questions based on unbelief. GOD requires us to believe in his existence and have faith of his love and power. you are suppose to live your life by faith and not by sight. we all hope and wish to meet the man that has loved us unconditionally, that was merciful during our sins and that has forgiven us when we fell short of his glory. hell is here on earth and when GOD comes back he will take those that have lived according to his will. and everyone else would be left behind.

Hell (in the christian sense) is the absence of God. So if you were in the presence of God then you would actually be in heaven. I think seeing God would increase someone's faith. Think of it this way, If you saw an alien wouldn't you have more belief in aliens.

Actually its the opposite, ( in my opinion that is ) You see if you ever will be so privilaged to meet God, it will be without a doubt the most awesome thing that you will ever experience. And youll probably (from that point on)start begging him to know more of him,and begin telling others how they can also meet him.

Actually there is no Hell. Although parts of Los Angles are getting close. No, you wouldn't go anywhere. But they might make a movie out of your experience staring George Burns and John Denver. ... oh wait, that's already happened. Never mind. ;)
