plus Goofy can talk like a human. Pluto can't. I guess that's why Walt Disney drew Pluto as quadriped.

Questions that I've always wanted an answer to:
If Goofy and Pluto are both dogs, how come Goofy can talk and Pluto can't?
Why is one a pet, and one a friend to Mickey? Is that fair? They're all animals.

Goofy is more human. Pluto is more dog-like. Goofy talks, etc. To the best of my recollection, Pluto never did.

Goofy is a cartoon character; he speaks, walks and interacts with others. Pluto is simply a character's pet. Pets do not speak, walk or really interact.

because pluto is mickeys dog . it wouldnt be right if he walked upright..lol! and goofy is a talking character it wouldnt be the same if he was a quadruped now would it .^_^
