Hi...we adopted a Mama cat along with her daughter, who was/is pregnant.

When the babies come (in about 3 weeks)...will the new Grandma be aggresive towards the babies?

Thanks!

No she will not. She could run off if she doesn't like the new kitties. The best thing to do if grandma kitty doesn't like the new kittens right off is too keep grandma kitty in another room. But most the times they help with the kitties.

That depends, before the female cat got pregnaunt, was her relationship with her mother a good one or bad one? If their relationship was a good one, then the "grandma" should be okay with her grandchildren. But if their relationship was not a good one, she may harm or kill them.

Cats are like people. They have their own minds set on how they will behave and treat each other. Some are nice and friendly and lovable while others are mean, cruel and hateful.

Just keep an eye on the soon to be "grandma" when the kittens are born. I hope you don't have any problems. May you enjoy your new additions to the family and may you find lots of companionship and love with each other. Good luck!

Nope. More than likely, the grandmother will help or take over. My cat's daughter'd daughter had some and they worked as a team to raise them.
