That's the quickest way to get rid of them. The only other way would be to target the muscles around them, but that is very difficult to do.

contrary to waht most people are saying here. Sit ups won't burn fat at your love handles. There is no such thing as spot reduction. You want to lose love handels. Exercise (both cardio and weight training) and eat better. Burn more calories than you consume and eventually you will lose them. Sit-ups and crunches alone will not burn that fat away. That will just make the muscles stronger under the fat.

I saw this on a Japanese informational video on you tube: first take a towel, hold your right hand out in front of you and hold the towel in your fist so it is perpendicular to the ground. Then hold the bottom of the towel with your left fist.
Now move your right hand over to your left, then move your left fist up top over your right, and move towards your right. You end up drawing like an infinity symbol in front of you.
Repeat these actions 10 sets of 8.
Just takes 5 minutes a day!

starvation is the only way if not liposuction.
sorry, the brutal truth. I did it for a beach trip (they never go away, completely), required 1000 calories/day diet for 8 weeks, and I started off at 10% body fat.
no free sugar, no eating ever after 6pm or so, only protein and veggies.
it's brutal, but wow the results
liposuction can essentially remove them completely.

a really good eating and excercise plan. if you have love handles then you have exta lbs else where on yr body. im on a really good plan. ive lost alotand feel light and look better
