One is 1 1/2 & the other is almost 1. They are always playing and wrestling and tearing up the yard.

You should be applauded for taking on TWO husky puppies! You must be going out of your mind!

But they are gorgeous, wonderful dogs. The good thing about having two is that they play with each other to burn off energy. That energy could've easily gone into destroying your furniture (my husky chewed up a leg on our piano!).

Other than filling in your yard with concrete, I don't think there's much you can do about the yard thing. Just accept that you'll never have a perfectly groomed garden ever again.

I agree with the people who said to start them in obedience classes. Also, look around for local dog parks. They can really get a good workout playing with other dogs and tearing up the park instead of your yard. And if you can afford agility classes too, that would be good for stimulating their minds. Huskies are so smart, they'll make up things to do (and destroy) if they aren't entertained enough.

Good luck and enjoy your beautiful pups!

P.S. I would advise against doing anything off-leash until you're absolutely positive that they will come back when called without fail. Seriously. Huskies have strong wandering tendencies and have been known to break out of yards that were enclosed by 6-foot tall fences!

Husky puppies are very hyper this is normal for the breed. They will always be very activve dogs.
You need to get them into some type of activity like fly ball or agility calss. They are a workiing breed and need the activity to be happy. They were bred to pull sleds and work hard every day. If they are not using up all that energy in one way they will find a way to use it up. Most likely not in a way you like.
Get out there and get them moving and run or walk them.

I had a very hyper pit-bull puppy and what we did to keep the yard from being torn up is took her running for a couple hours, ever couple days. we went up in the hills and just let her go. It let her get out the energy that she had and she was allot more mellow at home. I hope this works for you.

Start obedience training immediatly!! Huskys are smart, stubborn dogs that need lots of training, plus they are in their "teenage" year so they can be total brats. Petsmart has a really good program. Good luck.

train them while they are young. Put them into an agility class with a dog trainer. This will help them burn off their energy and make them calmer at home.

At that age it is normal. Maybe you should try rubbing their bellies they love that and they will relax and fall asleep in no time at all.
