You could accept the thought that they are superficial and they want a man who can spend money on them and of course a car is a status symbol.
I think that more to the honest truth would be that they want to insure that they get a guy who has a steady job, reliable income and reliable transportation. No one WANTS to hook up with someone who is dependant on you but would rather have a partner who works with them.
Mind you that not all women look for money or cars in a guy.

that is sooooo not true!!! I won't date a man who doesn't have a means and a way, but he doesn't have to be flossing and driving an Escalade...he can be making min wage and driving an Escort...at least I know he's trying then....

only greedy wemon that you should not be with look for that. I know that i never look at that as long as i can love them fro who they are i dont care. Date other ladies.
