I really like this one boy. I'm not sure if he likes me or not, although he does flirt with me very slightly. Do I ask him out? He is very shy.

I think that it is a good idea to tell him how you feel, however, I do believe that the male should be the one to pursue the female. That is just the way I was raised. Tell him your true feelings and ask him to share his feelings with you. Sometimes guys may feel the same way as you do now. He may not be sure that you want a relationship with him so, my advice to you is tell him how you feel and see how he responds.

It´s the same thing as a boy asking a girl out, people just make a big deal about it. If you like him, make the first move, because he is shy.

It is definitly ok for girls to ask boys out. I think boys like it when a girl has the courage to do so. Most boys don't and never get the chance so if a girl does it for them less nerve the boy needs.

I would go for it! I mean knowing him he's trying hard to get the courage to ask you out to.
Personally though I'm the shy one and I just wish i had the courage to ask a guy out.

If you see a shot at happiness, it is your duty to ask him out. You have all the same reasoning capacity of a man, why should you just wait around for something to happen. It is old school thinking that a woman should know her place and wait. Screw that!

Most likely he is shy and you probably will need to be the one that makes the first move. Start it off slow he probably will lossen up after a while

That's how my wife and I got together. She didn't actually ask me out, but she asked if I wanted her phone # Now we've been together for 26 years.

well i'd say give it a try. if it doesnt work out he is not the only guy in the world. but as to girls asking guys out...i think its awesome
