I've never noticed a difference between times that I have taken them faithfully and times I've gone without them.

Multivitamins are very important to take at all ages. Even if you eat healthly, foods these days are nutrient depleted. This is because of nutirent deficient soils, overcooking, and because it is nearly impossible to eat enough food to naturally consume all of the various vitamins and minerals your body requires to function at its highest potential. Around 2 years ago, the American Medical Association finally agreed that people need to take multivitamins in order to be sure they are getting all of the nutients they need.

I guess you could also look at it this way...the worst that can happen from taking vitamins is that you waste your money because your body didn't need them. On the flip side you could potentially avoid serious medical conditions by giving your body the fuel it needs to function and fight disease.

You have noticed times when there wasn't a difference in the way your body feels because maybe you had enough of a given vitamin and/or mineral in your body. Understand that multi-vitamins serve as a supplement to the nutrients that you consume during the course of your regular diet. Certain conditions in your body may clue you in on nutrient deficiencies. If you eat healthy foods (green leafy vegetables, non-acidic foods, etc.) you will receive many of the vitamins and minerals the body needs. Think about this. They say milk has calcium. Cows produce most of the milk sold in supermarkets. Well cows have to process calcium within their bodies and they eat green grass and other green vegetables. In my opinion, the goal of health is balancement and if you have all that you need or can get what you need from a healthy source, put your multi away.

if you do not eat a healthy balanced diet, then yes.You may not notice any difference now,but as you age you will.Such as,any young woman wanting to have a baby, should be taking folic acid daily to help prevent birth defects, talk to a nurse or doctor to see what you need for you age and stage of development.Personally,I take the over the counter prenatal vitamins, even though I'm 44 and have had a complete hysterectomy. They have EVERYTHING in them!

If you are unable to eat foods that supply your body with the nutrients and vitamins you need supplements may be worth looking into, but if your diet is balanced there should be no need for manufactured dietarics.

multivitamin supplements are really worth in those who are defficient in vitamins and suffering from defficiency disorders, i mean they show lot of difference in them. But for people without defficiencies, who take them as dietary supplements cannot make the difference, as they really dont need them, but just supplementation. It is just like preventing defficiencies, where u cannot make much difference.

It depends on your diet. If you eat a healthy diet with plenty of calcium and fiber and fruits and veges, vitamins may not really be necessary. But some of the benefits may not be obvious until later in life. If you don't get enough calcium in your diet you will be at risk for osteoporosis, and stuff like that.

I think Pro-Vitamin Complete is probably the best multi-vitamin/mineral product I've used. It has 178 ingredients, about as complete as you can get!

You'll see and feel a difference with this!!!
