A group of people went to a south american native group that had never seen a tv or even knew of the outside world. These people came to them and told them there was a wonderous occurance called " snow " that happened in their country. It was a cold white substance that fell from the sky. The natives gathered and considered. There was no mountain to climb and see this snow. They had no instruments to create it in their huts. The temperature was always well into the 90s there so it had never occured there to their knowledge. They observed the snow pples behavior. Some argued with each other. Others spoke roughly to the natives. Others sought the natives lands and posessions for their own enrichment. The natives concluded that these pple were liars and were there telling myths to deceive them. They called these snow pple names and laughed them out of town. They were absolutely sure there was no such thing as snow. There was no way to prove its existance so it had to be non existant.

1. Thank you, old school.

2. Don't write "ppl," "pple," "pples." It makes it even harder for me to take you seriously. Especially when you spell everything else correctly.

They could have taken some of the natives to Colorado, showed them snow, and taught them to ski. See, the existence of snow CAN be proven because it is a real phenomenon--it is physical, it can be observed, touched, tasted, and its various properties tested. We even have machines that make snow for the ski slopes when nature doesn't cooperate. We can look at snow crystals under a microscope. What can we do to test for God's existence?

And your question is? There was a way to prove the existence of snow, the group just did not follow through. Next...

You can empirically prove the existance of snow.

One of the natives only needed to go up north and he would see it for himself.

If you are using this as an analogy for disbelief in God, your analogy falls flat on it's face.

Does that mean that there is a group of snow people who have seen God, but since my mind cannot comprehend this....blah blah blah. I don't think so. This does not make reiligious beliefs any more real.

The existence of things that exist is not questioned.

It is conclusive proof God does not exist by the fact people question his (it?) existence.

Your analogy only works if you are claiming God is a local phenomena, which contradicts the claim he (it) is "everywhere."

Why didn't they bring a snow machine down there?

Empirical Evidence FTW.
