Energizer has a 15 minute AA and AAA Charger that comes with 4 2200 mah batteries for $30 at any Circuit City, best Buy, Wal Mart etc. You can pick up 8 packs of AA 2500 mah batteries for $17 at Wal Mart. I have 16 AA batteries and 4 AAA batteries and they are done and ready to go in 15 minutes. The best rechargable batteries I have ever used.
Just be careful these get HOT when they are charging.

Lithium Kadiom are the best, but for price range, Lithium Ion, are the best. Most affordable, and if you find a local hobby shop they can hook you up with a charger that will renew them to brand new life. It's a special charger that reverses polarity every few seconds while charging. Check the hobby stores.

energizers now charge in about 15-30 minutes. thats what i use with all my digital equipment
