My last hope to reinstall windows, I don't have the cd's, I just want to know where the install file is for windows.

The file is called Setup.exe. If it's not in the CAB folder, you need the install CD. There's no other way.

The CAB files are there just for getting system files that are needed for drivers and windows components. You might be able to go to the laptop makers website and order the restore disks. Or try ebay for the restore disks or just get a Windows install CD.

If you didn't intentionally place the installer files on your hard drive during the installation you will not have all of the required files for a full install.
