Here's nothing wrong with hanging out and remaining friends with your ex, but if she's put up a wall and has told you that she doesn't want anything more than friendship it's time to move on. You can still move on while remaining friends and hanging out though.

It sounds to me like she cares about you, just not in a romantic way and that's okay. You really never know what could happen in the future, just don't keep your hopes up. Take one day at a time and live your life to the fullest.

The only reason your ex wants to "hang out" with you, if sex or a relationship are out, is to keep you from being with anyone else. It is unfortunate when a person not only doesn't want you anymore but also wants to keep you from finding your own happiness.

That's up to you. If you're happy with things as they are and enjoy the time together, then aren't happiness and enjoyment worthwhile?

If you're NOT happy with things as they are -- like you want to be with someone in a relationship with a future -- then maybe you should be spending this time meeting new people.

Maybe you should find a middle ground and spend some time with your ex-, but not him/her monopolize all your time every weekend.

sounds to me like someone hasn't found closure. wants their cake andddd to eat it yummy yummy. you're just being hard on yourself, does she make any physical move? maybe you're misreading it, she wants to be friends but you want the old thing you had back. in which case, it's always best to clean it up and walk away - theres someone a hundred times better for you out there.

Ya, sounds like you're wasting time to me.... go out and find someone that will let you into their lives, no walls up!

Good Luck, Bra!

Aloha!

Your preventing yourself from meeting others and having a life of your own...I visit my ex once in awhile but to see my daughter, we get along just fine, but I don't make a habit of it just because it gets in the way of having my own space.
