Government pays for their rent. It's like welfare for houses.

Section 8 housing is low income housing. The housing authority actually pays a portion of your monthly rent if you find , qualify and can rent a section * residence. They pay the majority, and you pay very little, that way, you and your family actually have money for other things you may need. Section 8 has some strict rules and guidelines, but it is a good program. Section 8 housing is applied for through the Housing Authority for whatever county you live in.... Its a good program.

Section 8 is subsidized Housing. When an ad says "section 8 ok" it means that it the landord accepts the government subsidies.
