I can totally relate to you! I do not work but i am a stay at home mom with 2 kids ages 6 and 7 who fight like cats and dogs! I get up at 7 in the morning, bath the kids, dress them, get their breakfast and drive them to school! Then i come home and clean up the house which appears to have been wrecked by a tornado! When that is done i prepare their lunchs and bring it down school to them, then when i gets home I does some more house work, laundry, dusting etc...... Then i prepares supper for the kids and my finance who is working! They get home we have supper, i then gotta clean dishes, get kidz homework done and get them ready for bed, in between all the fighting and chaios that is! Sometimes it's that much noise in my home that i can't even heard myself think! Kids are usually in bed and alsleep by 9:30, you think i be ready to get some zzzzz then too, but my mind is still wide awake so i stay up and watch t.v. or read and usually fall alsleep in the living room alone while hubbie is in bed alone, so there goes the sex life'lol'! I think once our bodies become ovetired no matter what we does it is impossible for us to sleep, although we feel tired and sluggish our brain is still in overdrive for all the madness of our hectic everyday lives! P.S. The only way i can think of for your week to go faster is to plan something really special for the week-end and daydream about it during the week ,i don't know if your week will go much faster but it will put you in a better mood, daydreaming always makes me happy!@

A very simple and old tactic works often. Avoid watching TV, pickup a book and start reading lying in bed. Do you overexcercise in the evening? Jott down things to do tomorrow in a diary soon after dinner.

Insomnia, possibly. You only need 4-7 hours of sleep a night. 4-7 hours is healthy. Anything outside of that range is unhealthy.
