I think she did tremendous damage to liberalism in the United States and really revealed where they are coming from and just how sick and twisted that really is. Amazingly, she managed to do it in a humorous way. It really says something that her book is in the #1 slot at Amazon.com. The mask is really slipping off the liberal movement and people can see the hideous monster underneath.

She blew them out of the water - if it was a lie, liberals wouldn't care.

The truth really destroys every liberal argument that's why they hate her so much.

Notice how liberals don't refute WHAT SHE SAYS, rather they just say she's 'mean-spirited' (liberal code word for dammit, stop exposing liberal lies!)

I like to watch liberals cry about it though - it's really funny :)

Actually, she did more damage to herself. If you were to pay any attention to TV or radio, you would hear a lot of people (Right and Left) talking about how nutty she is. She's certainly not gaining any points with the victims of 9/11, that's for sure. Besides, she exposed her own lies as soon as she called liberals "Godless." That is truely a rediculous assumption. The only reason it's #1 is because she got people talking about it by being so hate-filled. Also, what was her competition? There weren't any other major releases were there? Oh yeah, the Dixie Chicks have spent two weeks now at the #1 spot in album sales...I bet the Conservatives are pretty peeved at that one, too. Controversy=money.

All Ann Coulter does is play into the stupid blonde mold. If you actually check her facts and figures, you'll see how she twists them. Just most people are to lazy to do that. Granted liberalism has gotten away from what it once was, what Ann Coulter is doing is even more brainless and treasonous than anything liberalism can do. She breeds hate and ignorance with every word she writes. She's also a liar and a hypocrite. She is what is wrong with conservatives today.

I used to read her stuff until I started doing my own research. Her is a woman that still clings to the "fact" that Iraq tried to buy uranium from Niger. A fact that has been debunked and even Bill O'Reilly has stated was erroneous. She still clings to the argument that Saddam sheltered members of Al Qaeda. (He didn't. No intel to support such a claim). She still sees McCarthy as some sort of saint. (He wasn't. He destroyed a lot of lives just for his own personal gain.)

I flipped through her book during a stopover in an airport. What I saw was a lot of accusation and tongue-in-cheek, but very little if any research or illustrative example. She goes on and on about how horrible the liberals are (anybody noticed how she says that word?) but doesn't seem to provide proof of her points to back it up. If you want me to believe that liberals are godless then why not interview some godless liberals and reprint their repudiations of god? Why not name some liberals in the spotlight who've disavowed god? The book is all invective fluff from my perspective, as is anne coulter. BTW, what argument does she wish to make against the 9/11 widows, without whom we wouldn't have had the 9/11 commission or Dept of Homeland Security? Wasn't it the widows who pushed for the 9/11 commission so Americans would know more about threats leading up to the attack and our gov't response to these threats? Why would anne need to argue with them?

Ann Coulters book is a very good read. I don't know that it will damage liberalism as much as it helps puts things in prospective for those with an open mind that will read the book. Something I doubt most of the small minds that have posted to this question will ever do. Her books are all best sellers, that must say something for her. She is a very good author, edgy and provocative, I've read them all and love them.

How bad?
As you can see the Liberals bash the book with out even reading it.
It exposed them only to the nonliberals.
So the shot went over there bow. Most liberals could not read any way unless Oprah sent them the book. That she stated about the wives need to be said.
To quot some other

Someone needs a pill.

You know.. you can't say she's all wonderful and doesn't have a monsterous side. Which by the way, you have used the mask thing enough... it's getting old. She called names, made fun, and addressed widows as witches. You think it's funny... which makes me see how far right you are, so you are biased. But I bet you get hopping mad with that mask analogy when you come across someone talking smack about Bushy boy.
The war will be over when every town in Iraq has a McDonalds.

Humorous? You have a sick sense of humor. A sample of her heartfelt, truthful book: (so very sarcastically said)
In "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," the uncompromisingly right-wing Coulter writes the Jersey Girls have no right to criticize President Bush or any of the failures that led to the terror attacks.
"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis," Coulter writes.
"And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy. . .
"These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them."

This is an outright attack. Pose for Playboy? C'mon! Even Bill O'Reily was surprised.

You think the "liberal movement" (whatever that is) is a hideous monster? Meanwhile, this right-wing nutjob has thrown decency, politesse, and respect out the window and accused widows of exploiting their husband's 9/11 deaths? She oughta remember that but for liberalism, she wouldn't be entitled to speak her mind, own property, write books, or vote. She'd be barefoot and pregnant, at home, serving the every need of her husband and owner. She knows not her own history or struggle.

There is your hideous monster.

She's an entertainer...she gets paid to do her schtick which, in this case, is poking fun at far-left liberals.
Some of her commentary is based on fact and then it is neatly encased in a fluffy, tasty neocon-oriented soundbite which is readily digested by people who really don't think for themselves very much.
And of course, the far-left liberals have their own little pogo-mounted cheerleaders, bouncing around, spewing out their own brand of us-versus-them humor.

Personally, I think Ann crossed the line when she bagged on the 9/11 widows.
Truly tasteless, classless and without compassion for human suffering.
Yes, she is entitled to her opinion and I strongly support her right to say what she wants to .
Yet, with those rights (which are slowly being whittled down by our current administration), come a responsibility to which I feel both the far left and far right have clearly ignored.

Too bad for the rest of us Americans as we search for a new leader to pull this country off of the tar-baby created by Brer Bush.
