The biggest problem.... not purchasing the required number of licenses. There are companys out there that make their money finding out who has illegal/unpaid for copies of software used in business. Then theres the problem of tech support when you have the software installed on more than one computer without the required number of licenses.

the obvious problems (and issues) are:
1. you don't own the software (you are only lisenced to use)
2. you cannot modify it
3. may not fully fulfill your needs
4. does not give your system unique to competitors
5. does not comply to your organisation network policy/security setting
6. lack of control on what it does
7. may be lack of support from vendor
