Katie, you have a serious problem - that people appear to be trivialising. If you are becoming depressed when you return from holiday - that signifies that there is something wrong with your life. Your holiday lets you escape for a while. Probably, it's your job - could be something else. life is too short to waste it. think carefully about how you could change your life to make it better all of the year around. Maybe that will mean improving your education and changing your job?

get holiday brochures as soon as you get home and start planning your next holiday...it ALWAYS works for me! I usually feel better even before i get around to booking anything...which is probably why i dont go on holiday every year, that and the lack of money! DONT pore over your holiday pics cos that makes you feel worse! :-)
