You dont get the vitiman from the sun, The sun makes your body produce it. And yes even when it storms you get ultraviolet rays from the sun.

yes v still get dthe D thing cuz even if we cant see the sun light and stuff the rays do reach us.especiaaly UV rays which happen to be more hamful.
