it doesn't need to be replaced.... but it shouldn't have god hello spearation of church and state

It has been around forever. So it should stay. Why was it not questioned years ago? Someone just wanted to start hell and decided this would be a good topic. So it should be in the school system. If you don't like our country or the school system take your kids to another country or just home school them. There are more important things to worry about.

Not unless schools make it mean something. Any kid can rattle off a stupid series of words, but that doesn't make them patriots, and it doesn't do anything for civic pride and/or responsibility.
If schools teach the Pledge, they need to teach the meaning of it too. Otherwise it's just more lip service.
Then again, what's more American than that?

No, I do not. I think that the Pledge of Allegiance is a way to celebrate our citizenship.

no it should continue to be said at school. people forget that separation of church and state was to protect the church from state not the other way around. we have managed to twist things so far out of whack, all religions have a "god" and the atheists could just stand respectfully and not recite, god our country is getting messed up
