We have a president who serves the wealthy (billions in tax cuts to the highest income brackets) while slashing social help for the poor Corporations are outsourcing jobs to india for 1/6 the price. The minimum wage is still a joke ($7.25 or something like that). How can anyone live decently off of that with todays living costs? We have a congress that seems unwilling to combat the presidents idiotic policies. We need to vote out these greedy politicians and vote for someone who will serve to help the poor get out of poverty and someone who will tax the rich and grow the middle class.I just hope the Democrats get their act together by the 2008 presedential election. Additionally I think all these companies outsourcing jobs should be severely fined. Additionally, illegal immigration has depressed wages and strained local towns/cities budgets.People need to make their voice heard because most of the people in the house/senate are quite happy serving the upper echelons of society only. Right now the middle class is shrinking and the ranks of the super rich and poor are growing. Not good signs. We as voters need to tell these pliticians to stop serving the rich, bring back jobs to America and stop the outflow of jobs, and also to end vietnam II (Iraq). Iraq is costing billions a week we could use to rebuild infastructure in our own cities and help the poor in the US. As Dwight Eisenhower said in his farewell address, "beware of the military-industrial complex".
