I cant get a work permit becuase of my grades right now. But then again I need a job. Can you name some jobs I can do that does not require a work permit?

Any job that pays you under the table-- meaning, they just hand you cash or a check and do not claim you on their taxes --would be suitable for someone without a work permit. Although, they are illegal, so don't call up potential employers asking if they pay under the table!

Common jobs, though, without a work permit include: babysitting, detassling corn, yardwork, chores, handymen services, etc. Any typical "teenage" job is usually fine without a work permit. Again, they are just not reporting you to the government.

some service-industry related jobs, some telemarketing/telefund raising. anything that is "under the table" and willing to give you a shot. I got my first job at 14 as a dishwasher/food prep. made minimum wage but it was off the books so no taxes.

Babysitting or doing landscape work for neighbors like mowing lawns etc
