I think exercise is a hassle too. Buy an exercise bike and put it in front of your t.v., so anytime you'd be sitting watching the tube, exercise on your bike instead.

You would probably benefit more if you do a little exercise. That will make anything you do work better. Your metabolism is affected by how much you take in vs the amount of exercise that you do (or energy that you use). Food gives you energy but if you don't use it, it stores up. So definatly watch how much you eat. I personally don't trust any diet that completely takes out a certain thing (the No Carb diet for instance) because your body needs to have a variety of every nutrient, not just everything but carbs. Reducing the amounts of a certain thing ( such as Lower Carbs) may help.
I have the same problem you do, though, I don't like to exercise. I do have 3 kids though so I get some exercise whether I like it or not. I currently weigh over 250lbs and am trying to figure out a way to use energy without having to "exercise. I use housecleaning as a way to use energy. I listen to music and dance around while vacuuming or while standing at the sink doing dishes. But the biggest thing that you have to think about is if your intake (eating) is equal to or less than your output (using energy).

I know your pain. I used to be heavy myself. I wish I could give you a magic potion, or "the ultimate secret", but they simply don't exist. The only way to a healthy and slim body is through diet and exercise. You don't have to run marathons or hit the gym seven days a week though. Start out by walking 3-4 times a week and cutting out a lot of the sweets and fat. You know, the obvious stuff. Pizza, Burgers, fries, and chips. Don't try the fad diets, as more often than not it results in failure, which can backfire. And remember this: never give up. No matter how hopeless it may seem. You are who you are regardless of weight or looks. Become satisfied with who you are as a person, then work on the things that you'd like to change! Hope this helps some.

Btw, whenever people here can't figure out what others are trying to convey when they give measurements, go to OnlineConversion.com and you can find out. 75kg = 165 lbs.
I hate haaaaate exercise as well, always have. If you were to try losing weight by exercise alone and not adjusting your eating patterns, you would have to exercise for hours a day. What causes weight loss is consuming less calories than you burn, it's as simple as that. Exercise is great for general health, and it assists in weight loss by raising the metabolism. If you adjust your eating habits exercise, you can exercise 30 minutes a day 4-7 days a week and have great results.
If a person weighs 77 kg (170 lb) and wants to lose .9 kg (2 lb) a week by exercising and not adjusting their eating, s/he would have to walk for 16 km (10 miles) a day. So you see, eating less is KEY to losing weight.
Because I hate exercise too, I can totally relate. Try doing something you enjoy. If you don't like taking walks (I don't, my back hurts), then don't walk. Many here are suggesting walking probably because it's easy and cheap and you don't need any special equipment. If you want to take a walk, great! Use a walkman or something, listen to music and make it enjoyable. If another activity appeals to you, by all means do it. Make exercise easy for you to do. I don't mean exercise lazy, I mean do something that you enjoy doing, and it won't feel so much like exercise, but rather it will feel like recreation. I enjoy dance, so I started taking belly dance lessons. It's FUN!
If there are emotional reasons you are overeating (I assume you are overeating, anyone who is fat is most likely overeating), then look into those deeper reasons as to why you feel the need to overeat. Is it emotional for you? Are you stuffing your pain with food? Are you using food like a drug, and if so, why? Look into these reasons, if there are any. If the inside isn't working well, it will be much harder to get the outside working well.
I hope this helps.

You have to take in less calories than you burn. I know you said you hate to exercise, but there are things you can do that won't seem like much exercise once you make the habit. Obviously, watch your food intake and drink more water. If you feel hungry, drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes. If it goes away, you were really thirsty rather than hungry. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park farther away. If you have a home with stairs, make excuses to go up and down them. If you have a lot of groceries, make more trips to take them in the house. Small steps add up to burned calories. Start small. Take a walk around your block. Then do it again tomorrow. Then add a block, and so on. You will find that you look forward to those times to get some fresh air and clear your mind. Hope it helps.

You have to exercise and eat right or else you won't lose any weight in a healthy way. Don't trust those fad diets or home remedies, because they may help you lose weight for a short while, but you will gain it all back. Don't starve yourself. In order to permanently lose weight and be healthy, you have to change your entire lifestyle. Eat a balanced diet of healthy foods (not just salad) and exercise a little (like walking 30 minutes every other day purely for exercise and doing light weight training). Without work, you can't get what you want.

The only way to fix this is in your mind, where you learn to stop hating exercise.
The best way to start is to start walking places. Avoid uding your car as much as possible. That way, you're not having to psych yourself up for exercise. It's just something you have to do.
You will find that if you learn to cut down on the portions you eat, and walk as often as possible, the weight will fall off.
Then you'll quickly discover a natural high aftyer you finish walking that gradually becomes addictive.
This is how I've seen people turn their weight, and their lives around.
Good luck - start today!

Once you get up in the morning, take 1/2 glass of hot water, squeeze some lemon and add a 1tsp or honey. It will help to increase your metabolism and loose weight. Drink hot water after every meal. These are very simple and efficient ways to loose weight. It really works. I've done it and seen results.

ok i totally understand where you're coming from! whatever you do......do NOT do the salad thing. There is no nutrtion in there for you. and once you stop you'll gain. (trust me i know)....Eat less and walk for about 30 min. EVERY DAY. try an intake of 1500 cals a day. and tons of water. oh and tons of PROTEIN. If your body lacks protein you can slip in to a deep depression, especially if you're taking medication.
