It is always good to cleanse. When we were kids we were given black pepper soup for a day and some Castor oil. It will cleanse you believe me! We used to do it during all the summer holidays. We are all vegetarians from birth and we all are leading healthy lives. Thanks to our childhood practices. Now that you have mentioned it I should probably do it. It has been really long.

What is a cleanse? Are you suggesting a colonic? A system cleanse using purified water and lemon?

Regardless, I would say no. If there is some health issue; see you doctor before doing anything drastic.

You need to lighten up and enjoy your life, haven't you ever heard the one about the 2 ladies;

One lived life to the fullest, drinking alcohol, eating everything she liked and partying hard into the early hours on a regular basis, she went out with her body totally used up screaming what a wonderful life, her friend on the other hand always ate sparingly, drank only water and never smoked, or abused herself with drugs; both going to die in the same aeroplane crash, however the later wished she had tried more, eaten chocolate cake, drank champagne and felt cheated as her body was still in perfect working order.

The moral is; we are all going to die, regardless of how perfectly preserved we keep ourselves, you can have the healthiest body however you can not cheat death.
