Potato casserole... 1lb hamburger, 1 box au gratin potatoes, 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Brown hamburger (add seasonings during browning-such as lemon pepper, garlic) drain grease. In large casserole bowl, combine can of cream of mushroom soup, cheese from potatoes, potatoes, hamburger and if box calls for water and/or milk- then bake according to directions of potatoes. I take this to pot luck dinners and NEVER come home with any leftovers... Some sides to serve with this are green beans and garlic bread. YUMMMMMMY

Family recipe... Shrimp Creole (been in the family for a very long time..lol)
2 lbs. cleaned, veined, shelled shrimp
1 onion diced
4 cloves garlice crushed
1 green pepper diced
1 carrot diced very fine
1 16oz can of crushed tomatoes
1 8oz can tomato sauce
3 cans chicken broth
salt
black pepper
red pepper flakes
1/2 stick of butter
2 tbls all purpose flour
In a large stock pot melt butter and add onions, garlic, green pepper, carrots and flour... sweat this down until flour starts to brown slightly. Add ALL liquid ingredients and let simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Add shrimp, when they are curled and light pink, remove from heat. Add salt, black pepper and red pepper to taste. Serve over cooked white rice, with a nice mellow red wine.
There are tons of variations on cajun cooking methods, you can add seasonings and other ingredients to your own tastes, sometimes I add crab or snapper to this dish also. Enjoy.

You can try Stir-Fry Noodles with Tuna. If you want to make them in record time, go grab a pack of instant noodles (preferably for Stir-Fry, but soup noodles will do), one can of tuna, and some soy sauce and sesame seed oil. Prepare the instant noodles as directed in the pack, then DRAIN the noodles once their cook (use the soup stock for something else or discard it). Add a dash or two of Soy Sauce and just a dash of sesame seed oil, stir the noodles and place them on a plate. Then, in a skillet, stir-fry the can of tuna for 2-3 minutes and place the cooked tuna on top of the noodles. Enjoy!
