This is a tricky subject. I've worked with the homeless and many actually prefer to live on the streets and wouldn't use or care for housing if they had it. Many of the homeless are also mentally ill. Tackle that challenge, they can become productive and turn it around.

yes i feel homelessness is a crisis in america the low income need the disabled struggle to find affordable houseing there just isn't enough low income housing which is why homeless shelters soon become over crowded some cities and towns don't offer low income housing where i live at there is one low income housing apartment building and the waiting list is over five years the people need the help all over i agree with you it is a crisis

Actually, if government would stop over-regulating the housing industry, and would stop implementing rent control, there would be more affordable housing built. But the interference of the government prevents people from building affordable housing.

In this instance, government is the problem, not the solution.

to do this we need to stop worrying about adopting children and families in foriegn countrys and start helping our own that would be the first and best thing ever to do
