NO you need to go to the dentist. I am sorry if it will be expensive, but you really need to go. That hole in your tooth is opening your nerves and the root up to infection, which could lead to a root canal or your losing that tooth and even others if you don't get it taken care of. Call your insurance company for a referral near you. A filling should be covered by your insurance. If you don't have insurance, it is still important that you suck it up and get to the dentist ASAP in order to avoid even more expensive problems down the road. A little prevention goes a long way!

I tried it when my filling came out and the stuff was alright although it only stayed in for about two weeks. But you do get enough to last you for quite a bit. Alternatively you could always ring NHS dental direct who will be able to refer you to a dentist that is NHS. You should be able to get the number out of the yellow pages, failing that ring any dentist who'll be able to give you the number. Good luck.

You really should go v soon so it doesn't get infected from food etc. You should try an Emergency walk in dentist centre, you may have to sit around for a bit but at least the job is done in the day..take a book..all the best

Just go straight to the dentist as I had to do in similar circumstances today.
The filling fell out of a front tooth this morning.
It is done now - and another one with it.
Call to your dentist - but dont miss anymore appointments.

I live in Oregon. They have walk-in clinics on a first come, first serve basis. Don't mess around; an infection can be serious. See a doctor for antibiotics and a referral.

GO ONTO THE NHS WEBSITE, AND GO TO THE WALK IN CENTRE PAGE, ENTER YOUR LOCATION AND THEY WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH YOUR NEAREST WALK IN CENTRE AND TELEPHONE NOS. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND I LEFT IT, THE PAIN WENT AWAY FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS, A FEW WEEKS LATER I WAS HAVING A ROOT CANAL, AND BELIEVE ME, YOU DO NOT WANT THIS, GOOD LUCK, GET IT SORTED NOW OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT.
