I'd like to teach my 3y old child some chinese. There isn't any educational TV programs and such that I know of. Are there any resources available (any kind, tv, software, books, etc) for teaching to young kids?

Teaching with no talking does nothing.

What is "chinese" anyway? Sounds like you need to learn a bit before yuo think your 3 year odl is going to learn anything. Chinese is not a language. There is Mandarin (mainland), Cantonese (Canton and Hong Kong) and other dialects.

If you want him to really learn, put him in a home with Mandarin speaking folks. If you do not speak it, he won't retain it at all. It has to be constantly spoken to learn it.
