There is this guy who I find very attractive and he finds the same in me, but I am 6ft tall and he's 5'8" tall. Has any woman dated a man much shorter than them? If so, how did you handle it? How did it make you feel?

I have the same problem. I'm 6'1. As long as he doesn't have a Napoleon complex, then go for it. You see fat girls with skinny guys all the time, why not a tall girl with a short guy.
As a friend told me once, it's all the same when they are flat on their back...

I have. It was difficult at first because it's easy to feel self concious as a woman if the man you're with is shorter than you. What made the guy special is he never acted like our height difference bothered him. He was still a man and treated me well, and wasn't overly aggressive with me. I stopped worrying about it and enjoyed being with him. I think women are afraid to date shorter men because society has a notion that the man is supposed to be taller than the woman, but it's about loving and caring for the person you're with not if he's taller than you.

The sexiest man I ever dated was about 5 inches shorter than me. But he was tall in other areas, so it worked out fine!

I've never done it personally..i feel im a tall girl (5'7) so im not really interested in men shorter than i am..my boyfriend is 6'4..I love em' tall...6 feet or better..but I honestly don't think it would be a problem if u did date him..i mean, if you feel comfortable with it..then that's all that matters..and if you like him then go head' girl...

damn.. if i was anywheres near that tall and i liked a guy and he liked me back.. and he was shorter nuttin wrong with that.. I am 4'11 and all my men were like 5'8 to 6'1.. It is hard to find a man shorter then me.. LOL.. If you like him and he likes you.. Height should not even matter sweetie.. Best of Luck

I dated a guy (my ex math professor of all people) who had a growth/back disease or disorder and he probably came up to my shoulder about...and his legs were different sizes, but that's beside the point. He was probably one of the funniest people ever, so sweet, and I had a really good time with him. It really doesn't matter unless you're going to be so preoccupied with what other people think that you can't even enjoy a possibly good thing.
