Different opinions on this one... some say at the point of conception...others at birth. During the pregnancy it is considered a fetus.
The government considers birth to be the point officially with the creation of a birth certificate, henceforth, a human being.

Depends on who you ask. I consider a baby to be human from the moment of conception. I certainly isn't a fish or a fly.

though your question is a simple one the answer can be one of many however medically , its assumed that at 24 weeks of gestation (pregnancy) the faetus ( baby) becomes viable (living) that is also the time when the babies heart starts pumping so mecically it is considered alive from that point onwards. morally, spiritually, religously however many cultures have different perspectives and most believe that the baby is a potential live being from the time of conception.

At what point is a duckling considered a bird? It's always a bird, and a human baby is always a baby.

A baby is concidered a human when the egg becomes ferterlized and the cells start to divide. Now when a baby gets its soul that is unknown and will forever be unknown.

In my opinion the moment that the sperm fertilizes the egg it's a human being. I know many people would not agree with that but that's how I feel.
