we really don't know enough about the earth's natural cycles to say for sure but Man's contribution is minimal compared to what the Earth is going to go thru anyways. We just don't have enough recorded data. maybe in a few hundred years we will have more info to work with and speculate on ....

I suggest you do a simple experiment. Build a small "hot house" using a piece of semi transparent plastic. Place a thermometer in side of it. If the temperature rises, you'll know the hot house effect works. Now ask yourself, could such an effect work on a global scale, using a gas like CO2. If you believe it can, then we may be the cause of some of the warming that may be taking place, because we make a lot of CO2 gas.

1, Ice age is a natural thing by nature, it happened once, it will happen again. Remember this!!
2, man has increased Mother Nature's process of entering another Ice Age through heating up the earth, but man can still fix this problem, or make the next Ice Age occur less brutily, or not at all

I believe the warming of the earth is a combination:

1. of a cyclic earth/sun connection which occurs at different
periods in the earth's history AND
2. speeded up by all the human pollution warmed and trapped in
our atmosphere.

yes...earth is becoming warmer... due to burning of trees, smoking, ya....carbon dioxide emissions increase and this greenhouse gas traps sunlight and heat which prevents them from going back to space...hence, this trapped heat causes polar caps to melt, which causes flooding and an increase in the temperature
