The BEST thing you can do is change your dog's food to Science Diet. I found that cruddy foods made my cat's epilepsy so much worse.
Here is an herbal remedy you can try:

Are you kidding? Epilepsy is a serious brain condition that isn't going to be helped by vegetables or holistic herbals. Keep the dog on the meds your vet recommends.

Has a vet confirmed epilepsy? Those dogs tend to have a lot of seizures. Some dogs just have what is called idiopathic seizures which are few and far between. Meds are not prescribed for those dogs.
Of of mine has seizures. She started out having one a yr. Over the years, it became 4 a yr. I stopped all vaccinations for her 3 years ago. The last 2 yrs she only had 2 seizures a yr. She is 8 yrs old.
Read what Wisconsin University has to say on vaccinations. They are know to cause seizures in some dogs.

Sorry to hear that, My dog also had it that... it was a shepard... anyway there is a medicine the vet has that you can give your dog.... my dog would still have the fits but very rarely... It is actually a medicine that humans take.. there are no veggies that will work... We tried everything... My dog had a small pharmacy at it's disposal I did everything to keep that dog alive as it was mine.. anyhow go to the vet and ask about the meds, if I remembered the name I would tell you but it has been two years already and my dog was around for 12. You should use phenobarbital instead of feeding your dog vegetables. They will not control the epileptic seizures. If for some reason, your dog cannot tolerate the medicine, please GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR VET. If you discontinue the phenobarbital, eventually your dog could die of seizures with nothing to control them. I do not say this to scare you. It happens that I do have epilepsy and I know what I'm talking about. PLEASE, PLEASE, for your dog's sake DO NOT DISCONTINUE THE MEDICINE. I cannot say it enough--you could kill your dog if you do no matter what the person at the health food store tells you. Vegetables have nothing in them to control epileptic seizures. PLEASE get in touch with PetsMart and ask the people who come there from H.A.R.P.S. or A.R.K. if they will foster your dog until they can find doggie a new forever home where your doggie will be cared for. There are plenty of people who do not mind a handicapped dog and would love to have one to care for. Please do not kill your dog by withdrawing the medicine. This is what will happen. Maybe not soon, but in the end, the dog will die. Of epileptic seizures.

Consult a veterinarian in your area that practices both eastern and western medicine. Sometimes acupuncture can help as well.

Have you tried going to a holistic vet? You can look on the internet to find one in your area.
Good luck.
