I mean, I've seen some pretty ugly kids and I always think...well, at least their parents think they're cute.
Could I be wrong? Do some parents think their kids are ugly too?

my mom has a friend who thinks his son and his daughter are ugly,and sadly they are.

The only time I thought they were ugly/funny looking was when they were first born until they were about a month or two old. But, then again, I have not yet ever seen a CUTE baby - they are ALL funny looking!

And odds are, the answer is "no." Every baby is cute and precious in the eyes of its parents. Why? Because that child is a composite of the two adults who made it. Each will see the face of his or her partner in the child.
Remember that these two people fell in love with each other, and thinks the partner is VERY attractive. Therefore, the child, who looks like each partner, will appear very attractive and cute to each parent.

Yes, some may think there kids are ugly my cousin when her kid was born was an ugly baby but she is beautiful now

Sadly, there are parents that are like that and they think their child is ugly. Parents should never tell their child that though, because..it can really hurt them. Oh yeah..If you think your child is ugly...you made them; so guess where they got their looks from.

I think that to the child's parents, they are the cutest baby ever, I have never heard a parent call their baby ugly!!

There's that saying "A face only a mother could love". Some babies are so ugly only their mothers could love them. I had a friend (rest her soul) who had what I believe was the ugliest baby ever. I couldn't look at the poor kid. He grew up and he's not bad to look at now.

There was a radio show that started a call-in topic about this one morning. Lots of mothers called in to tell of the horrible "gremlin" looking kids they've birthed. It was funny and kinda sad that someone would punk their kids out like that... on the RADIO, no less.

Parents always think their kids are cute. I promise when you have a kid it's like they are beautiful if only in your eyes. But that's ok I guess.
My daughter is a beauty though!

The easiest way to answer this question is to watch doctor Phil. Sadly, there are people like this, plenty i'm sure. The key is to never tell your child he/she is ugly.
