This is what happens when you look at only one sentence and don't put it in sequence with the other sentences around it. As you can see, the rest of this passage did not come to pass, so its not talking about 911.
" 23 He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows. 24 The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel. 25 In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill. 26 The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted."

Not really likely. I mean I'm from NYC, while most of you saw the towers fall on TV I saw it from my bed room window, so that day has really special meaning to me. BUT many towers have fallen since the bible was written and many will in the future. There will be days worst than 9/11 I am sure. I just hope I'm not around to see it.

Jewish mystical tradition says that "G-d looked into the Torah and created the world." The Five Books of Moses are G-d's "blueprint" for creation.
We Jews believe that everything that happens is in the bible - sometimes hidden very well. Usually after something happens we know to look for it and are pleasantly surprised many times. Although, usually it is not so direct like what you wrote. Usually its coded: for example the first letter of a few row of words in the Torah (it would only apply to a Torah scroll that's in Hebrew) spell out the names and date... of what happened. There are many examples. It is so amazing - I remember countless teachers bringing in papers that show this. I am going to look for a link
Here are some amazing links that give you examples:

Chapter and verse would be nice.
Okay. I found it. Isaiah 30:25. If put into proper context, no... it has nothing to do with the WTC. This is an English translation of the Hebrew, mind you.

That is the problem with the so-called "prophesies" in the bible. They are so vague that most of them can be applied in different situations to suit whatever need be. This is much like Nostradamus' quatraines. When you simply say something bad will happen sometime, you are probably going to be right.

You actually think that the bible predicted 9-11? Most of the bible is so vague that you could make it out to be whatever you want it to be, that's why so many people who read the bible interpret it in different ways.

doubtful, I think since it's the bible that states it's coming... that it will be much much greater than the twin towers.

No, it's not. "Towers" in this verse refers to the lookout towers, not buldings like the WTC.
