Bibically, Chirstians are suppose to humble themselves before other and to be loving to everyone. Christians are also human and do make mistakes but I am just looking to see what the general image that, people who call themselves Christians, protray to the world... Thanks :P

Everyone is self rightous at some point, right? I don't think that you can ask this question on here and get a good answer. You also know what the answer should be and how Christians are supposed to act. It's not right to call anyone an ****** and being a Christian I would say that I am loving.

Everyone that says that they are a Christian is not. This is the first thing you MUST understand if you are asking a serious question. A lot of people claim Christianity as a religion who have absolutely no relationship with God. Christians are loving. Love does not mean that you are to walk all over them, I often tell people the Rev. stands for reverse, because some preachers need to back up and just smack some folk.

Because of the journey of a life time, one may become acquainted with some blank hole situations dealing with their problems and also others. But because of the divine suffering one goes through in the process to become a true Christian it began to remove the blank holes and the end result is a Whole Christian..
John 5:6 (King James Version)
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

There are really too many Christians to put them all in one category. SOme people would be self righteous a holes being Christian or not. I might add that there are self righteous a hole Pagans too. My parents are Christains and neither Self Righteous or a holes. In fact they accept my beliefs and last weekend took my husband and me out to dinner.

I am a Christian. I love God, I love people. Not all Christians are like this though. There a lot of Christians who say that they are Christians and they go to church and worship God and pray, but when they get home from church they don't do anything for God. They don't pray, they don't read their Bible, and they don't honor God. Church should not be an act. Church should be the real deal, how you live every day. I live my life for God even when I am at home. I am not saying that I am innocent and the rest of this world is at fault, because I now that I am not perfest and I am guilty of sin. I am not putting myself above others because God loves us all equally the same, even though we sin.

It depends on the person individually.
I am a Christian but am about as far away from a self-righteous ****** that you can get.
As a whole you can not judge people by their religion. It is easy to do it but it very rarely works to speak for a majority.

This is one of those questions that's hard to give a general answer to. Like anything else in life, your going to get both extremes and everything in between. If you meet a self-righteous one, just remember to keep an open mind and open heart.

Self-righteous. I've met many relgiious people who were not very nice people at all. Atheists on the other hand tend to be better people as they are not on a mission to convert everyone around them and constantly taking the moral high ground. Religious people are not very tolerant.

I have met some cool, loving, tolerant Christians. I have met MORE Christians who are self-righteous *******. Sorry, Christians, but either the majority of you, or the most vocal group of you, are jerks.
