You can of course do normal activities, but maybe wearing a band aid when you get ready in the morning would help you feel better. Just don't look in the mirror at first when the band aid is off. I promise you that no one else sees you the way you see yourself. Haven't you ever seen a really good looking woman with a butt ugly guy. Love is blind and if someone is worth your time and friendship they will not see your scar as disfiguring as you see it. Best wishes

if you feel that bad about your scar , i don`t know how old you are i think you are about 12 to 16 years old . if you are not 18 talk to your parents ask then to take you to a plastic surgeon, if they are not able to bear the expense ,go to a university teaching hospital, and get the BEST Dr. around the chief of plastic`s usually will do the work. if they wont do that ,remember you are still the same person ,be your self .i speak from experience. i have scars on my neck {2} my arm {2} my back{4} my buttock, left leg {8} knee{3} and a few more. don't worry you are still YOU.

After a few weeks go by and you still have a bandaid on, your coworker might begin to question what's wrong with you/your face. At least most people are too polite to ask how someone got a scar.

I hope a cosmetic surgeon sees your question and answers it with compassion so you will have hope about getting this fixed properly. I hope someone who knows a fine cosmetic surgeon will refer your question to him so he will respond to it and help you. I am just a regular fellow, but I know that what you are upset about can definitely be repaired, cosmetically. Surgery these days makes gigantic strides every single day, so what you happen to know about it from before will have been replaced with new techniques and knowledge by now. I strongly urge you to seek feedback from anyone who can conscientiously answer your concerns about all of this. You may be asked to make an appointment for a consultation, but I think you will be very pleased with what you will find out. I am sending you a big hug and lots of support while you try to look at all of this with new eyes. Take good care, now, - G., South Portland, Maine, U.S.A.

You can try different band-aids to accessorize. There are a lot of Bandaids that have pictures on them. Be ready to get asked "Why do you wear that Bandaid?"

You could wear one if you want, but how healthy would that be for your skin? Your skin needs to breath and if you cover it up, you might do more damage than anything else.
