The sites above are all decent websites if you are looking for the meaning of single words and standard expressions.

Take into account that these sites do not take into account the grammer of the source language and that most translations are quite literal and not always correct.

Do not use it for sentences and the like. If you want a more qualitative free language translator program, search for a program/dictionary that specifically deals with the languages you need. In most cases these programs/dictionaries are far more reliable than general websites such as Babelfish and FreeTranslations.

there are a lot of web sites on the internet that do translate for free. Go to yahoo or google and type in "free translations"

I would have to agree with Balohan.....using Babelfish & Freetranslation.com, for english>polish translations got me into a few hilarious situations. I hadn't realised these services did not take grammer into account!

Gpo on www.download.com and try there. Dont use freetranslation.com its rubbish. Convet something into another language. Then convert it back it comes up with something totally different
