Because people in general are selfish and self centered. It's all about them. If a guy sees someone he thinks is attractive, he's gonna say something no matter what. What's the worse she could say? Either "yes" or "no". It's a gamble he is willing to take. What is important here is being secure in your own relationship to know what your girl's reaction is going to be. Most guys want their cake and to eat it too. Do you still look at other girls while in your relationship? Of course you do. We all do. It's a meat market out there. Just make sure you don't let this get you so upset that it makes your girl think you are insecure. No woman wants a weak man.
