Thank you for your question. Believe it or not I would be very happy to be sure there is a God. I would have lots of questions for Him + a reason more to live (except helping the human kind)

God. science proving the existence of God. a curious enterprise, since by definition the very tools we are using were created by the being.
Proof. hmmm, for arguments sake, let us assume he doesnt exist. Then we have to argue for our own existence. An existence that has a beginning and an end. Therefore by definition everything has a beginning and an end.
Now, beginning and ending are containers. So what contains the container. An infinite regress since we have a beginning and an end. a contradiction.
Therefore, God does exist.

I am not sure what the previous question was but I doubt if ever science will prove that God exists or doesn't exist. this is mainly because of the nature of science and that of God. Science is in itself a reductionist way of investigation which relies on physical tangible things which can be retested and most probably put under the microscope. God is an infallible spirit who can only be realised by humle faith. these two can never meet but they are not neccesarily in opposition. a scientist can discover a lot of physical truth and be awed by all this and consequently believes in God or he can conclude that the world is so organised that it really doesn't need a god. Either way, they make their choices and they have the freedom to do that as existentialists will say- we are doomed by our freedom.

Science like statistics, the media, and virtually everything else in this world can be manipulated to give a desired answer To place your faith in science to support your pre-conceived notions is well foolhardy at best I believe in God because I have seen his hand at work in my life and the lives of many others. I know full well that this is not acceptable proof to those who will not believe, it is however what I believe in. If by chance I am wrong and the atheist of this world are right what have I done that is wrong? If the atheists are wrong and I and millions of others like me are right; well I am sorry for those of you who will miss the celebration. But I am wasting my time logically debating what can only be proved or disproved at each persons death or Christ's return. Believe what you will, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Sorry, I have not answered your first question. But I'd love to be part of your debate.
I agree with you that science does have some factual means to prove God doesn't exsist, and everything is created from something, and every action has a cause and all those scientific findings throughout history. nd although science has not proven yet how or why or when everything was first created ... and it hasn't yet proven where and how everything goes after extinction or death .. it's still pretty naive to believe in something so fantastic with all the materialistic analysis we use in our daily lives. But this is where the word "faith" comes up... all religeons calling out to worship the one and only truthful God or Allah .. needs you to have faith. Faith in His existence, faith in your salvation, faith in miracles and faith in the uncertainty of life, however careful we may be. This faith - to some people - is what keeps our minds sane, don't you agree?
So, let science do its job, try to figure it out .. till then, some of us chose to have faith in the Almighty, so we can have a peaceful happy short life.

It is not the fear of God that keeps one from killing someone. It is the human decency factor. God is the only One who has the right to take life. He giveth, he shall taketh away.
And furthermore, God did not do a lousy job creating our world. We as people have done a fabulous job of screwing it up though.

Science can not prove the non-existence of gods, because gods are defined to be outside the natural, which is the domain of science.
What science can do is to help answer questions about how the universe works, and how it has evolved over time.
The non-existence of gods can usually be proven through linguistics and philosophy, not science, but it depends on the definition of god.
