In my experience it's true that most girls like it rough SOMETIMES but certainly not always.
It's very much dependant on both the atmosphere and her mood.
NEVER slap, bite or pull her hair unless she has clearly indicated that's what she wants.
Trust me, be rough at the wrong time and you'll be going without for a long time.
A little domination on both sides can be very sexy, however, sometimes a woman wants to feel safe and protected in bed so gentle carrassing and tenderness is called for as opposed to dirty rough sex and use of explicit language.

Oh I just love it when the prissy ones, christians and 13-year-olds respond with a "no" based solely on the fact that either (a) they have no idea or (b) they're 13-year-olds and have zero experience.
You'd have been better off asking men because (at least af far as straights are concerned) men have a lot more experience of having sex with women than straight women have!
Based on my own little evidence-base I'd say the answer's about:
50% yes, always
30% yes, usually
10% sometimes/mood
10% no / never / that's-for-whores / you'll burn in hell
(PS: That last category, in my case, would be based on a single shag only, as that last category of women are universally "bag of spuds" useless in bed...).

No, although there are many different people in this world who lie completely different things.
For the most part I believe women want a sensitive lover who will satisfy her and respect her wishes with regard to what she is comfortable with and what she doesn't want to do. Some women may like it 'rough', but I think you'll find that those men aren't 'boyfriend' material.
We want our guys on the same level as us.
