perfectly normal, actually. he may be in a place where he doesn't have the ability or availibility of email or phone access.

being Intel makes it even MORE likely that he is unable to contact you(or anybody else, for that matter)

It's very possible that he's busy or somewhere that he either can't contact you or that doing so would jeopardize security, especially if he's working with intelligence. No news is good news. Unless his parents call you and tell you that he's been killed or injured (because you won't be the person notified in such an incident since you're not married), assume that he's okay. You can also go the Red Cross and have them do a health and welfare check. They won't be able to tell you any information, just that he's okay. Or not.

Don't get too worried. My husband is currently on his second tour in Iraq... and depending on where they are and what their jobs are... communication can be hard... There are a variety of living conditions there... so just hold fast... keep sending him emails and letters of your well wishes and pride...

i don't know what to tell you, he may just be traveling a lot... most of the bases seem to have internet access, i talk to one of my best friends nearly every single day... but he's an mp... and i know phone calls are hell of expensive.
