there is more than 10 types of bible , which one i should follow?, which one is right?, and they are all against each other for different purposes, WHY BIBLE can be changed?, would god ever allow that ?,
while in MUSLIM relegion there only one type of Quran since 1400 years ago? why there is no, not even 1 different letter, not a word , just a letter in all of the Qurans allover the world, why no body couldn't change it?, don't tell me no body tried, they did but they couldn't, and that is god's hand in this case,
this a challenge for all of you, change a phrase from Quran, then you win.

There is only one Bible but many translations so that people will understand Gods saving grace easilly. Different translations but the same saving gospel, the same God and Jesus amd messages and they are certainly not against each other, by assuming that it is against each other I'm also assuming that you didn't researched enough to see ig this notion is true. Do you agree that even ur Quran has been translated to english so engish speaking muslims can understand it? It's the same purpose as to why the Bible has many translations.

Remember we Christians believe that the Bible is the work of humans through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. On the other hand our Muslim brothers believe that Quran was written by Allah word to word. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew while the New in Greek. The ancient Hebrew is very much complicated, so no one can say he/she can translate the Bible correctly. So the many translations that we have, are the work of people like me and you trying to understand clearly what God is saying in the ancient writings, which we believe is the Word of God. we also have to take into consideration the culture of the ancient near east when we read or translate the Bible. So the question should not be which one is the correct one but which one is very much close to the original script. Me as someone with a little bit of Hebrew I will say the one which is close to the original script is King James version. Also we have one in my African Language (Sesotho, South Africa) which is also little bit close to the original script. The truth is it is better to have all or as much as you can have of the translations and compare what they are saying on a particular verse. I hope you understand this because it is something that we should worry about, but it is a very good question to ask. About changing a phrase in the Quran, I will not say anything...they deny the only Savoiur of the world Jesus Christ.

There is only one Bible to go by that gives you the true scripture from God, that is the original King James Version. Not NIV, not The Living Bible, not the Quran or any other bibles. It says in the bible Revelation22:18,19, any man who shall add to, or taketh away from bible will suffer. The other bibles that have been written do some history and see the fates of the men or women that have written them. The King James original bible was prayed about for a long time so the translation would be right as God had said. The Quran tells you if anyone doesn't covert to that religion they are to be killed. God tells you to love your enemies.

There is one word of God, people have created different translations or versions for what ever reason, maybe to understand the language better. This sometimes leaves important things out or adds a new perspective to it. I personally don't trust any but the King James Version, I might see how it is phrased in another version, but I love the KJV. Stop trying to compare the bible to the Quran, its a totally different religion.

Man has made the Bible into over 300 different translatons. Go to the basics of the KJV as your foundation. Not saying some of the others are wrong, but God blessed the KJV for a reason.
The Muslim fear Allah to the point he is unapproachable except through martyrdom. God has nothing to do with Allah.
I don't wish to change any verse in the Quran, it contradicts the Truth in the Bible.

The Quaran wasn't originally written in English, Spanish, Swahili etc.... it was translated just like the Bible. There are many different translations of the Bible and the Quaran and no translation can be exactly true to the original text due to differences in languages. Their are some paraphrased editions of the "Bible" which contain commentary, but these are not to be confused with true translations. I'm sure there are versions of the Quaran that contain further commentary for teaching.

Because words are written by man not god - and man is fallible. Man is influenced by external and internal conflicts and will change his mind or will choose his words to induce fear and obedience in other men, though, on occasion, man has been known to be inspirational.
The truth is that no one knows what god is and none of us ever will until the day we die and our souls begin a new journey. The best thing you can do is follow your heart and do your best to treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Remember no religion is right or wrong - they just have different ideas about god. Faith in something higher than yourself is what is most important.
Good luck in your spiritual journey. :)

The reason is language, the quaran has never been changed into a different language since its inception, where as the bible has been rewritten since before it was an official bible. to the poster above me, God is Allah, Allah is God, after all both words are euphemisms for the same divinity, get some education

Because through time, certain kings, and religious leaders made changes to the Bible to suppress the people. Simple as that. I read the New World Translation, because it was taken directly from the original manuscripts.

JESUS is the WORD OF GOD. And HE became FLESH and dwelt among men. The WORD became a HUMAN BEING. The WORD is JESUS. Word's are"inner-image transfer device's" and when you TRANSFER the WORD(JESUS) into your MIND, YOU become like JESUS------and if you transfer ENOUGH of the WORD(JESUS)---you can go out and WALK on the WATER(if GOD let's you that is!!!! FAITH works by LOVE(GOD), LOVE has to O.K. what you do in FAITH, or it ain't agonna work!!!!!)
THE WORD was translated into a lot of translations!!!! YOU can find the WORD of GOD, any where you find JESUS backing it up.. Can you read the Koran and go out and do MIRACLES??? Through the HOLY SPIRIT, not the DEVIL's power??? What I call fake-miracles!!!! NOW how ya agonna tell the REAL from the FAKE!!!!! Try the Spirits, to see if they are of GOD!!! It's TRICKY!!!!But remember this, GOD's POWER is ALWAYS greater than the Devil's power----no comparison, really.!!!!!!
