To annoy the hell out of everybody. NO. Just teasin'. You existence is simply a continuance of the nothingness that all of space is comprised of. Just a bunch of stuff floating around in space. The only reason we all exist is because of the chemical make up of our planet. The only reason you exist is to expire.

From the athiest perspective the problem is your question itself.
Why do I exist is a meaningless question. You exist and that is it. There is no why. There is a chain of causes, but no why. Why is a very human concept and implies purposeful chains of events. To answer this why, you have to not accept that you are.
That is it. You are. There is no reason other than the natural chain of historical events. There isn't a why, just a what happened. Likewise, you don't actually exist except in an intuitive sense. All the atoms that currently make you up have always existed since the beginning of the chain of events either as matter or energy. "You" are just the current assembly of those particles. "You" don't exist, a mass of matter and a some energy is self-organized and is somewhat sentient exists.
To go back to the earlier ideas, religion is the rejection that the universe is.

I can't tell you why you exist but I can tell you what impact your existence has had on me so far. In meeting you I have learned that even if someone chooses to label themselves that doesn't mean I know everything about them based on that label. Like you being an atheist I assumed at first that meant that you had no spirituality or desire to know anything about what others believe for real.I've learned that some people hide their feelings behind sarcasm. I've learned that you will stand for my right to love who I want no matter what sex that person is. You give me confidence to come on here and just be who I am and I know that why you may not agree with everything I say you still support me and my right to say it. Thank you for creating such a free space in your life for others. I wait to see what crazy thing you will say next, not only because I will be smiling but because it usually sends me into debate with myself over what I believe. You have made a positive impact on my life. How many others feel the same? Why do you exist? You tell me.

Dude.... obviously your parents did the horizontal Mambo and 9 months later, viola!
If not, then Mom must've went to a bank and bought the juice, if you get my drift.
Either way, your parents created you, which would be "why" you're here.
The very act of asking the question that you did doesn't smack of atheism to me, sounds more agnostic, like you want answers, but you're not sure that you buy into the most common of them. (If that makes any sense, probably not).
I, personally, don't believe in "God" either. I tend more to believe in a higher consciousness that we're all a part of that directs the universe rather than one all powerful omnipotent being.
I know that this doesn't really answer your question, but it's the best I can do.

You exist to make choices, the choices you make are what make you and your existence up. Remember everything is relative, and even if you don't exist in what most believe to be out conventional universe then in your own mind you do. The question of why you exist is far beyond the comprehension of anyone human being (aside from the biological standpoint of course). The real question is what is the reason for your existence, think of all that you have done all the good and bad. Now think if you never existed what would you be? What would you have done? Our lives, our existence is all made up by the choices we make in life.
PS Read Jean-Paul Sartre, I think that will make you happy.

Why? An atheis would generally say that there is no reason whatsoever. We can explain how, big bang, earth formation, free energy organizing itself on the surface of the earth, evolution, etc...
But there is why except to say that the laws of physics allowed it and it happened to occur. If the comet hadn't hit 75 million years ago, I can guarantee you, we would never have evolved.
Some day there will be no more humans. It could be in 1 year from a huge meteorite, it could be in 10,000 years or 15 billion. At that point every thing man has done will be completely irrelevant.

Bro, you can believe what you want to believe. But I know that you were created for a purpose! There is no mistake that you are here on this earth at this particular time. I don't want to waste your time, and I am certainly not wasting mine, but you need to search out the facts man and find out if there really is a God or not! Refute the bible. There are alot of people that care about you, including God. Good luck on finding the truth.

from that perspective - I would say that there is no real purpose laid out for you. You have goals I assume, they could be selfish or charitable. You could exist in order to propogate your species, but there are already so many humans on earth so that really isn't a reason. Ask your folks why they felt like they should have children.
If the reason for you to exist was just so that you could be, well that wouldn't give you any direction at all. If you thought that maybe you should be this or that or whatever, then ask yourself why... is it for you or is it for your species (to help mankind).

You simply exist because you exist. There are no theories for the creation of man or the world other than by God's design that give a purpose for why you exist. Without God there is no purpose for why you exist.

I don't believe there is a real purpose. So just enjoy it while you are here. I think people in general are quite arrogant to think they are here for a special purpose. Why does anything exist? Like someone else said, it is just circumstance
