Can we ever win? We're damned if we do and damned if we don't...

I agree/disagree. We can win in the long run. The hope is that 20 years from now Iraq will be economically stable and it's people jamming to the Eagle's. peace

Oh, come on now...since when does any government act based only on what is right and ethical? We usually respond to the military , industrial , and business community. Since Darfur and Rwanda don't have oil(or anything else we want), the US lets them all be massacred. When there's oil, the Government makes up whatever reason it wants so they can take over. Of course, the deal the French and Russians had with Iraq was the basis of their refusal to join the US, which didn't have the same deal.

yes were in a catch 22 , but invading countries for no dam good reason or proof to back it up makes us bullies, hence this iraq war. and now for the next 100 years we are always gonna be in fear of other countries who hate us for this , comming here and killing us . and our children suffer with this problem too now .
