It depends on how ugly is ugly? I can't take him around my friends ugly, or I can't take him out to the sidewalk ugly?
If he's clean, his teeth aren't chiped, broken, stained yellow or brown, his breath doesn't smell and he's a neat and clean dresser, then yes, I probably would. I think like beauty, Ugly is in the eye of the beholder.
