I am moving to a new house and it seems I have no room or idea of where to put my cats litter box. It needs to be out of the way of my dogs who love to eat what's in the litter box. Any suggestions or ideas?

I had the same problem with my dog. I got one of the litter boxes that is covered and that did the trick. I also put the box downstairs.

Well, for some disgusting reason, cat poo is like a gourmet treat to a dog. You can't train them not to do it. If your dogs are bigger than the cats, put up a gate with a hole cut into it that is just big enough for the cats to get through, but will keep the dogs out. If the dogs are small too, then make a platform that the cats can jump up onto to use the litter box, but the dogs can't reach. Good luck!

I have 2 cats and 2 medium size dogs. I put the litter box in the cellar. I have a big eye and hook on the cellar door.Wide enough so the cats can get threw the door to go down the cellar but the dogs can't.

If you have medium to larger size dogs, get a covered box, put it in a corner with the opening facing the wall. If you have the box an inch or two out from the wall, the cat can get in, but the dogs can't.

Have you tried the covered litter boxes? and then stick them in the bathroom somewhere where the dog cannot reach them easily. That is what we do.

Try putting it in a small place that your dog can't get to but your cat can. I had to do this and it seems to work.
