If you say its not important or its just a detail then does that mean its not the word for word of God.

If you already believe the Bible isn't the word of God you don't have to answer this question to tell me what I already know. Go ahead any way if you don't read details to questions.

There was no Adam and Eve. What most Christians don't want to believe is, they're more of a symbol of the first man and woman.thats it.
And being cast-out of the garden of Eden was the awakening or loss of innocents. No there was no garden.

Adam and Eve were created perfect. They were designed to live forever. However, when they disobeyed God and sinned they began aging and eventually died.
Through the centuries man has gone further and further away from perfection and as a result his lifespan is today much shorter and riddled with pain and suffering.

From memory the oldest man mentioned in the Bible lived to 940 years of age.

When God made Adam and Eve he intended on them living forever. When they sinned is when they started to die and passed that gene to their kids.So every generation has gotten weaker and weaker .Sure some advances in med has prolonged humans life expectancy but its just a quick fix.
