It all depends on how much you like this person. You also have to keep in mind that if you aren't really careful - you may get it and the chances are good. If you really like this person I would go with your heart. It's gross to think about, but it shouldn't be what the relationship is based around. Remember that this person with the herpes is still a person with feelings and it probably isn't their fault that they have it in the first place. About 1 in 5 people have herpes.

chanes are you probably already have, alot of people that have herpes never get any symptoms
