Perhaps it was a prophecy about the African Americans.

They were slaves for 400 years.

It's 40 years since the Civil Rights Movement and during that time there have been race riots, profiling and all that stuff, was that the time in the desert.

Was the Million Man March the Exodus?

Was MLK jr. really Moses, since he didn't get to see the promised land but he was shown it in a dream?

Will African Americans finally find the promised land?

Are African Americans God's chosen people?

The Bible must be true since it predicted this exactly.

Would all Black people be considered God's chosen people since we share common ancestry with African Americans?

It may have been 40 years since the civil rights movement, but there hasn't been any wandering around in the desert ever since, and Martin Luther King, Jr. didn't lead the non-wandering in the desert, as he was busy being dead. So no, it isn't a copy of the exodus, and Martin Luther King was simply Martin Luther King, Jr. and not a reincarnation of Moses.

And sure, there has been a large group of the lost tribe of Manasseh being found in Ethopia and they're black, but they've found other groups of some of the "lost tribes" in China, Russia, etc., so its obviously not about race. I really don't think God is racially prejudiced.

Interesting concept....but incorrect. Moses was a real person and the story of Moses in the Bible is not a parable, but a true story. The Israelites are God's chosen people (Jews). MLK Jr. was a great man, and a man of God. So I don't believe that he would agree with your theory.

the Torah and Bible state that G-- will send the prophet who will "be like Moses" and lead the people to salvation. There is only one that has fit that category. But you already knew the answer to your question.

"Whoa onto you, scribes and Pharisees. You hypocrites. Your words are sweet to me, but your hearts are far from G--'s laws"
