I guess I should have mentioned that the object of the message is not so "personal". More like when Jonah went to Ninevah, he told the whole city to stop their "collective" sin.
I'd like to hear someone go before the leader of a country (have this televised live), and warn them about God's judgement.

Actually, that depends on the religious beliefs you follow. Fire and brimstone is a mainstay in some religions more than others. This approach of using fear to force repentance can work for a time, but it simply won't hold forever. The better path to true spirituality is unselfish acts of kindness and love. That's what the Bible is all about. It all comes down to Love. Disaster strikes anyone and everyone, whether you believe in a higher power or not. It's as sure a thing to bet on as any. Following your divine providence will not make you invincible, it only devlopes a faith to help pull you through the difficult times. Hope this helps some.

Because there are more FREE thinking and knowledgeable people now.We are not falling for the fire and brimstone threats anymore. The GUILT AND FEAR are over.
If someone doesn`t abide by societies rule they are punished by their peers .We no longer threaten disaster by God ,because it is a crapshoot of 50/50 odds that something bad will happen to that person.Have you noticed that we don`t put curses and hexes on people anymore either?

Maybe YOU don't hear it often enough.
I think people do hear it often enough, they just don't believe that their lives are a direct consequence of their actions, and their choices. A lot of people can excuse their lack of morals by explaining that their bad lives just happen to them, through no fault of their own. It's easier to blame than to change. People who cop out that way will always be victims in their own minds, and will not heed the "Unless you repent..........

if you are referring to church, then the message will be mostly about money! Just turn on the TV and listen for 15 minutes. I promise you will be educated on the benefits of seed sowing. He isn't planting a garden. He wants your money so his bank account will grow

Would you like to hear more of such messages?

If you tell the average person that, they will simply detest you and your radical beliefs.

Or they'll be terrified and repent.

But for the most part, they will detest you.

Because scare tactics do not work.
Didn't you learn that growing up?
What your parents tried to scare you away from usually drew you to it...
At least it did for me :-)
